High Efficient Light

In 2019 WEILIRAM developed outdoor lighting fixtures with a total lighting efficiency of up to 176.5lm/W, which is a leading level in the industry. Since 2020, after innovation and overcoming multiple technical difficulties, significant improvements have been made to the 5050 devices and modules, achieving a significant breakthrough in light efficiency. After actual testing, the latest ultra high light efficiency LED lighting fixture (excluding power supply) can achieve a light efficiency of 215lm/W (the module operates at 30W power), and the three modules form a 100W lighting fixture. Under the condition of a system power consumption of 100W, the overall lighting efficiency can reach 200lm/W.

High light efficiency means more energy saving, and using LED lamps with higher light efficiency can effectively reduce energy consumption.

 

Taking road lighting as an example, compared with the typical 120lm/W LED lamps currently used, when the light efficiency is increased to 204.0lm/W, the power of the lamps can be reduced from 180W to 110W, and the annual power savings can reach 281 kW · h, saving electricity costs of 196.74 yuan, and achieving significant economic benefits. (Calculated based on: average lighting time of 11 hours/day, average municipal electricity consumption of 0.7 yuan/kW · h.)

The power saving of one ultra high efficiency 110W lamp is equivalent to reducing 220.62kg of carbon dioxide emissions per year (compared to a 120lm/W lamp). According to the research data of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, planting a tree can absorb 18kg of carbon dioxide every year, which means that the application of each ultra-high luminous efficiency lamp is equivalent to the contribution of 11 trees in carbon reduction.

 

The higher the light efficiency, the higher the utilization rate of energy. According to the data of National Semiconductor Lighting Engineering R&D and Industry Alliance, China's lighting power consumption accounts for 13% of the total social power consumption. With the continuous application of higher luminous efficiency lamps, energy consumption will be effectively reduced, and its role in energy conservation and carbon reduction cannot be ignored.
